Well, it's that time of year again-- back to school! I used to dread this time of year when I was a kid, but now I'm the teacher and I realize it's even scarier now. I don't dread it because I dislike it, I just worry-- am I prepared? Is my room pretty?
I feel like I'm playing school and it's easy to forget it's finally for real. I'm going to take some puctures of my roon and post them.

I love all the wonderful food pics and stories:) I just wanted to encourage you about your first day at school as THE teacher now. I've been teaching at the college-level for 4 years now, and every first day of the new semester, I get that fluttery feeling in my stomach. It's not so much nervousness anymore that I feel, but downright excitement, just like a little kid. The funny part is that because I'm one of those baby-faced Asians, my students often mistake me for one of them until I walk up to the podium!! It's so funny to see the look on their faces when I introduce myself as the instructor:)
