I just called our travel agent to find out where our tour info was (it hasn't come in the mail) and they had no record of me! After some researching, they found our paperwork, but they didn't have my credit card info. or anything. The girl who I booked it with messed up! Everything is ok now. I payed the deposit, arranged the insurance, and we are back in business, but still . . . If they didn't have such a consistantly excellent record with the Better Business Bureau and Association of Travel Agents I'd be nervous.
The weird thing is . . . I called last week to ask a question and she said "yes, you're packet was sent out" like she was referring to our account or something.
Weird . . . This trip means everything to me and if anything goes wrong I'll freak out!

it's like the chapel where i'm supposed to have the wedding. thank goodness i called them up and had a verbal yes from them about using the place or else i would have gone crazy waiting to hear from them.
Posted by: letti at March 10, 2005 01:47 AMYikes. My advice would be if it's a large agency, only deal with one person, that way you can say 'I spoke with X yesterday and she said...blah blah'. Otherwise everything tends to get lost in translation!!! I hope you're still coming out this way!!!
