Update: A Day in Hotlanta (and more)
I had a fabulous day in Atlanta with my mom. We had a nice lunch at Eatzi's. I had a roasted veggie sandwich and I also brought back some goodies-- a cold udon noodle salad with black bean sauce, bread pudding, and some Swiss yogurt (brings back memories of my semester in Europe). Next we headed to The World Market where I bought the above teapot. Stef gave me 2 lovely teacups that matched it when she moved and I thought it would be nice to buy this to go with it. Actually, my mom bought it for me. :-) Oh, and the thing in the back is a tea cozy my grandma got for me for my birthdayl. My family rocks!
BTW, my bloodwork came back and everything is ok now. I was worried because the last test showed that my liver wasn't functioning properly, but the doctor said condsidering how sick I was (104 fever) it's not at all unusual. A big sigh of relief!
Glad to your about your bloodtest, I had to drop hubby at the airport at 4 this morning!! So now I am making myself a lovely cup of Fennel Tea and having a massive toasted cheese sandwich! About your question on my side we might be like Dutch from generations ago but the last 4 generations was born in Afirca. Ironically hubby also had white hair when he ws a child and he is from the UK

Quick question. You might have alreayd said this somewhere on your blog, but I haven't been reading very long. How do you drink your tea? Do you put anything in it? cream, milk, sugar, etc?
LOVE the teapot and the tea cozy. We have so much blue and white pottery at my mom's house from living in asia. I just love it and cant wait to have a house of my own because i want a room dine in blue and white with that kind of pottery as accents.
