Neat Freak

I spent a few hours yesterday organizing all our travel paperwork: all our flight info, itenerary, JFK hotel reservation, forms, etc. I went to Staples and bought a pretty aqua clipboard and some highlighters in assorted colors. I had fun highlighting key info and putting the forms in order. I like doing this type of thing-- organizing, highlighting, taking notes. I always have. In fact, I keep flipping through the paperwork, admiring how organized it all is. I know I am annoying my poor husband. "Honey, look how organized it is now" and "Do you want to see the notes I took when I talked to the travel agent?" Poor man. I can't help it-- it's the teacher in me. :-) I like having things in order. In our house, everything has it's place. I don't like shoes on the floor or dog toys everywhere. Do you consider yourself a neat freak? Does chaos and disaray bother you?

i'm a neat freak almost to an*l retentiveness. David is the complete opposite. His "corner" looks like a hobo lives there..*lol*

What's worse than being obsessive compulsive about neatness? Living with someone who isnt! *smiles*

I can't stop my head from spinning when there's too much clutter around. I don't rest until I go around and throw and/or put away a bunch of stuff that just doesn't need to be there.

I have issues - and I know that.
I need everything to be organized, in my kitchen their is certain "space" to do certain things there is a drinks corner and everything you need to make a drink with is there and there is a snack corner and so on. Hubby has his own set of issues he can not eat if there is dirty dishes in the kitchen, suddenly I feel sorry for my kids!

Love all your organization! If you were showing it to ME, I would be soooooo captivated! Unfortunately husbands aren't as thrilled as we are :)

I definitely have my OCD-organization moments! Not always, because I also tend to clutter and pile things. I wish I had all day to work around my house and clean and organize... that seems so lovely to me :)

So, I was wondering if you found a good leather bound journal? Did you end up getting the pink one? I'm looking for a good one for my mission trip. Ebay actually has a TON. I wish I could touch/feel them first, though.

My daughter is a neat freak and I am just a wannabee. I am the absolute opposite, I should be called PigPen because I bring nothing but chaos!

Clutter and disarray doesn't bother me, I just close the door. My next plan is to post a picture of my desk at work! I tell everyone that it's a good representation of what the inside of my head looks like.

I LOVE organization and have very OCD qualities, but only with some things. Clutter stresses me out, but yet somehow it doesnt stop me from piling the mail in a certain spot in the house and my clothes on the chair in my room.
