Reality

Tonight I started to cry because I had a craving for something other than the meat I thawed and now I have to throw it away.

My wonderful husband is at Cracker Barrel picking up two orders of turnip greens. I have officially had a craving for something weird.

My boobs have gotten so big that I can barely button my shirt. I even comtimplated posting a picture of my bulging shirt, but decided not to post sexual pictures of myself on the internet.

I am really pregnant.

This is too weird. Guess what I had for dinner tonight? Turnip greens. Made by my mom :)

well at least you are not craving for something out of the ordinary. my best friend was craving soap. as in bars of soap. she ate an organic one and nothing happened to her. i guess the baby tasted it and didnt like it. :*) my best friend also said that she likeed being pregnant because of the boobs. normally she would wear A cup but when she was pregnant she was a D! :*)

With my first pregnancies I could not eat meat at all or drink anything with caffiene in it - just the smell of meat, coffee or Coke would send me hurling my lungs out. When I was pregnant with my daughter I ate bags of Lemons I ate anything sour and she loves lemons she has very strange taste - at treat for her is lemons or appples with blue cheese on it. Nobody else in my house eats blue-cheese but she LOVES the stuff.

Turnip Greens? You sound like a real southerner now. Have you even eaten them before? That is so strange!!! Oh, don't forget, Pam Cotter with Mary Kay, we are meeting her this Sunday at 2. She is going to give me directions. I am going to give her your phone number because she has a few questions about your skin so she can bring the right stuff for the facial. This is going to be fun fun fun! TTYL!

I guess the weird thing about turnip greens is that I had never really had them but was craving them anyway. Now I know I love them.

Hannah, I've been so neglectful! I haven't read anybody's blog for weeks, I come here and discover that you're pregnant!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! I am so happy for you! One of the best things that helped me with morning sickness was Saltine crackers before I even got out of bed. I just kept a pack on my nightstand and ate them before getting up. Helped a bunch.

I also wanted to let you know that I posted a picture of my dog. You had requested that quite a while ago but I didn't have a digital camera at the time. :) Congrats again!!!

Wow ~ the cravings have already begun! hehe :) Turnip greens, eh? Never had those. The bulging chest thing started for me early, too. I'm at a D cup right now ~ still can't get over that!!! LOL! :) That's DEFINITELY a perk of pregnancy [and breastfeeding]. I didn't really crave anything odd, per se, but I couldn't get enough fruit [especially apples and pineapple], and one night I *had* to have ravioli or I thought I would die. I also had to have VERY icy and cold drinks, and toward the end I wanted ice cream. Foods like smoothies, yogurt, pudding, etc. with that type of texture totally grossed me out! Isn't it funny how our bodies react differently?
