A Good Weekend

I am trying to take it easy this weekend, while still getting stuff done. Yesterday, my sweet mom bought me some maternity clothes! The shirts are really cute and since it's un style to have the flowing pretty shirts with the tie in the back, I can wear them now. Then, last night, we went to Cheddar's for dinner. Today, we went to church and then to the grocery store. I am feeling good today, so I hope I will still feel up to cooking the stuff I bought for dinner this week. I haven't been cooking much or doing much meal-planning because I never know when the nausea is coming (it's worse in the evenings). I am hoping I feel good tomorrow night because I'd like to make Pad Thai with tofu. Yummy! For the rest of the afternoon, I am going to get some packages together than need to be mailed tomorrow and just try to take it easy before meeting my family for dinner tonight.

What have you done this weekend?

Oh my goodness! I love Cheddars, haven't been there in a while, but I'm for sure craving it now! Thanks a lot! :) hehe.

I would rather be nauseated in the evening than in the mornings. At least your home and not at work or something. Plus you can relax more in the evenings, at least that's how it is for me!

I kinda took it easy and tried to get some stuff done around here as well. It was a nice and uneventful weekend!

so glad to hear that you are feeling well. you should be good when the first trimester is through and you're on your 2nd.

we didn't do a lot this weekend too. just a dinner party yesterday at a coworker's home...i made a version of the coconut cake you made when you came over to our place then. i used condensed milk, evaporated milk, half&half as well as some rum. quite yummy and it made me think of you :) everyone loved it.

Glad you had a nice weekend. The outfits seem nice! Hope you are well enough to cook! I lost six hours watching terrible movies this weekend. LOL.

Oh just read the above comment by Stef. My mother in law makes that during Christmas. It's Puerto Rican tradition.

Mom's are awesome, since having my baby my mom and i have become SO close. We always were, but now so more than ever. I hope your mom lives near you because they are SO invaluable in helping out with the baby. I'm ready to buy a bigger house so that mine can move in with us!

Your weekend sounds nice and relaxing. Ours was too. We had attended a birthday party on Saturday and took the kids skateboarding all day Sunday and then to a bonfire that night.
