A Strange Dream

I had a dream last night about breast feeding. It felt really real. I was in the middle of doing something, when I felt my boobs start to leak. The next thing I knew, there was milk all over my shirt (I know this happens) and then I knew it was time to feed my baby, who by the way, was really unattractive, but I'm sure I loved it anyway.

As weird as this sounds, when I woke up, I was confused for a minute as to whether or not I really had a baby. I saw it so vividly in my dream and I felt my shirt get wet. Then I remembered-- I still have 6 1/2 months to go!!! Ever since I got pregnant, I have some funky dreams.

It's *so* funny that you would mention that, Hannah ... I was just going to ask you in an e-mail whether you've been having vivid dreams lately. I had *so* many of them when I was pregnant ... they felt SO real!!! I really had some wacky ones. It's good that you're dreaming about breastfeeding ... hopefully that's a sign that it will go just fine for you! :)

I had all kinds of vivid crazy dreams when I was pregnant too! But this dream reminds me of the ones I had the first couple months after my girl was born. I'd wake up in the middle of the night to nurse her, and then after I'd gone back to bed, I'd start dreaming that I was still nursing her but had fallen asleep doing so and I'd wake up in a panic thinking I had dropped her only to realize she was in her bassinet and I was dreaming. Crazy!!
