We Heard It!

Today was the most amazing day of my pregnancy yet! We heard the heart beat! James, my mom, and my sister were there too. I told myself I wouldn't cry, but who was I kidding? I immediately starting sobbing like a total loser, and the doctor even said that if I didn't keep my stomach still, that no one else would be able to hear it. It was so strong and loud and it was the most amazing sound. It made it so much more REAL. Except for horrible nausea, I have had no real proof that there really is a tiny person in my tummy. It amazes me how I can love something so much that I've never seen.

And to add to the excitement, here are my week 12 belly pics. Excuse the big ass. Although it doesn't look very different from a month ago, it has rounded out more.

Awww, you look cute. :) You make me miss pregnancy ~ a LOT! I'm really happy and excited for you guys. Hearing the heartbeat is just one of the most amazing things on EARTH. I remember saying to the OB, "That's not MY heartbeat?" I burst into tears, too.

Hey!! You got to the 12 week mark!! Yeah!!!! That's always so exciting! Can you believe that you are already into your fourth month? The time just flies by doesn't it?

Awwww YAY!!! Your belly is so cute! And our asses TOTALLY match, no worries. Nothing wrong with junk in the trunk, my hubby LOVES it. :) Just think, we look like J Lo and she is HOT. heeheehee! I was crying like a blubbering idiot when we had our u/s. Seeing that little heart just going was unreal!

I'm so glad you're at the 12 week mark! It seems like it took forever to get here, didn't it?

Yay! It is exciting, isn't it? If you didn't do it this time, take a recorder to your next visit so the rest of the family can share in the joy. Is this the first grandchild on James' side, too?

Shokufeh, James's sister had a baby a couple of years ago, but this is the first on my side. :-)

I just realized that when I talk about "it" not being that different and it having "rounded out," it sounds like I'm talking about my ass since it's right after the big ass comment. I meant my that my belly hasn't changed much. God forbid the ass got any bigger! :-)
