Let the Countdown Begin

The only thing worse than being on the road this morning was being the ONLY one driving at 7:50. Apparently, the rest of the world is still on vacation. Hey, I can't complain though because I enjoyed having two weeks off. James is off today. He's heading up to Atlanta with my dad to pick up the furniture for the nursery we bought last Friday. We bought all the furniture and tonight we are picking up the bedding at the mall. Progress is being made! I am proud to say that the nursery is FINALLY empty and the new guest room (the old one is now the nursery) has been set up and it looks great! The only thing left to do before setting up everything is painting, which we are hoping to have done by this weekend.

Now, I am really watching that countdown until March 31-- my last day of work. It can't come soon enough. Don't get me wrong, I like my job sometimes, but I am so tired and I just want to be done. Of course, this is coming from someone who had 3 hours of sleep last night. My acid reflux was bad again and I had to sit up in bed. Also, baby girl kicked me half the night, making it worse. My back hurts too. I might have to use that gift certificate for a pregnancy masage more quickly than I thought. Ok, enough complaining. I have work to do.

Definitely use that GC! You deserve it! I'm thinking of splurging for one (I already used my GC and it was wonderful!!!) :) Don't worry, time will fly and you'll be off before you know it! Can't wait to see your furniture and bedding. Ours looks sooooo good, I can't wait to post pictures of it. I keep going in the nursery and just looking around at everything, it seems so surreal.

Wow, March 31st will be here in no time and you will get to start enjoy life being a stay at home wife/soon to be mom. When is your due date? Mid April?

It's not nice when you have to work and it feels like no-one else is!! I'm at work today too. Will be for at least the rest of the week...URGH

Are you painting your little girl's room or painting your "new" guest bedroom? What color are you using? I remember how much fun it was to set up Lucas's room. It felt very surreal to us, too ~ knowing that our *son* would soon be in that room! :) I'm sorry that you didn't get good rest last night. We didn't, either ~ but I'll e-mail you sometime later on about that. I am *so* behind on e-mails! LOL! :) Take care ...

Your right, at least you had the two weeks off! I hope you had a merry Christmas and a wonderful and happy new year! I'm so excited for you and your growing family! You'll have to post pictures of the room when it's done ok! :) Have a wonderful week at work! Oh, and here I can make you feel better about your early morning commute. When I start student teaching, we have to be there at 7:15...and I live 30 minutes away from my school. I'm going to be one early to bed girl! I will probably need some coffee too! So I will understand how you love your job, but hate the tiredness! :)
