Accident Update, Church, and Braxton HIcks Contractions

This whole situation continues to be a complicated mess. We're still waiting to see how much they are going to offer us for the car. I really don't want to know. It probably won't be enough. The nice folks at Saturn (I had a Saturn) offered to check the quote the insurance company offers to make sure it's fair. I love Saturns-- great customer service, a protective steel cage-- great cars. I'll probably be replacing mine with another Saturn.

I had a doctor's appointment this morning. They x-rayed my hand and said that they saw something, but weren't sure what it was (all those tony little bones). He said he wants it in a mobilizer thingy to allow the swelling to go down, so I'm typing pretty much with one hand. I am still waiting for my regular doctor to call back about the possibly fracturesd ribs and pain I'm in.

On a positive note, we joined church yesterday. We have been attending church since moving here 4 years ago, but we didn't find one we wanted to join until about a year ago. We wanted to join before baby girl's birth, so we'll be members when she's baptized.

I've been having some Braxton Hicks contractions lately (since the accident) but they always stop. This is about the time most people start getting them anyway. As long as they don't get any worse, we're ok! I still have lots to do before our daughter's arrival!

I am very glad you are at home and taking it easy.

Congrats on joining the church! We did that a few weeks ago too at the one we have been going to since August.

Congrats on joining the church you like :) I hope your hand heals quickly and you aren't in too much pain. Take care.

According to your ticker, I'm about two days ahead of you, but I still haven't felt any type of contraction...or at least I don't think I have. I assume I'd be able to tell.

Congrats on finding a church to call home.

I have friends who are loyal Saturn people. I never got it, but I think I do now. Well, congrats on joining the church and I can't wait for baby girl's arrival!

I've been offline for a few days...I'm so sorry to hear about your accident. Praise God that you and the baby are both ok. I'm sorry about your car - insurance is such a pain. I'll pray that God will work out a great car situation for you.

You sound in so much pain. As if just being pregnant isn't "painful" enough.... or rather causes it's own pain. HUGS
