Consolation

Tonight, on my pillow, a card saying . . .

"I know you feel like you've lost yourself. Remember, I'm always here to find you. Thank you for 4 wonderful years of marriage"

I needed that. Sorry I can't stick around. It's our anniversary and Olivia is almost asleep. A movie, cheesecake, and my hubby's arms are waiting for me . . .

The Olivia pics will have to wait until tomorrow.

Yeah!!!! He is stopping for a moment and going WOW, I am lucky to have her. Cool, I also have a daughter to share my life with....Geeze, am I lucky or what?

This could not have come at a better time!

I still remember running into ya'll at the mall after you had eaten dinner. You were looking at rings.....I think we had only taken one class together ..American Women Writers....

See how far you've come...and how many fond memories you already have to cherish. Embrace them!

happy anniversary both of you.
hannah, i think that what you are going through is a lot of transition and that is never easy. my coworker who has a 6 month old is feeling that every day and she always says it's hard but when you talk about her little boy, she's always so happy. her husband even travels most of the week for work so she does the single parent role for quite a lot of the time. it's been harder since she had to come back to work. still, the key is, take time, and it's good that you are aware of your sense of self. it only means that you will not lose it, only because you don't want to. stay strong, olivia's mommy :)
