I need your input . . .
I need to get some fall shoes-- something not too dressy, but not too casual. You know, that perfect inbetween shoe. Now, I have my share of shoes in my closet, but one more lovely symptom of my pregnancy I've just discovered is that my feet are bigger. I had this baby months ago, and still, I discover new things every day, like the fact that the inside of my belly button is discolored because it was popped out for so long!
Keep in mind, I'm much more into comfort these days. I WISH I could tolerate all my boots, but they seem to annoy me these days for just every day stuff. I'll save the pain and frustration for when I need to look really hot!!
Ok, here are the ones I'm considering.

I like these a lot because they look cute and comfy, but I try not to follow trends too much and these are kind of trendy . . .

And I like these sneaker-ish shoes.
I also like these. I don't really care for loafers, but these don't seem too loafery.
I seriously hate buying shoes. I used to love it, but these days when money and tighter and time is scarce, it just seems like a chore.
Posted by Hannah at November 2, 2006 06:41 PMI loooove the ones on the right. They are so cute! They'd look great with a pair of jeans and a tshirt or even with a skirt and tights. I want some of those for myself. Or then again, how about all 3? ;)
Posted by: Jenn at November 2, 2006 09:36 PMI like the ones you have pictured here. If you go visit my blog, I'll post some that I have that are *SOOOO* comfortable :)
Posted by: Connie at November 2, 2006 11:11 PMI love the first pair, they are heaps cute! :)
Posted by: Trace at November 3, 2006 01:27 AMI *SO* know what you mean. I've always had bigger feet than most. Since my pregnancy - they've been 1 size bigger than they were, and sadly - it appears they're staying that way. THe bum thing is that at size 8 (that's a ten in the US) it's at the very top end of ladies shoes here in the RSA. Which means that a) they often don't carry all styles up to that size - or b)they carry so few that they're sold out by the time I get there. Sometimes - depending on the style of shoe - I actually need a 9 - which puts me sh*t out of luck! and even more scarily - needing to look at the MENS (shudders) shoes.Which explains why I love shoe shopping in the US - because for some reason - yankee girls also tend to have bigger feet -making my choices that much more enjoyable...hell I think it's time for a shoe shopping spree in the US! I would actually consider flying there JUST to go shoe shopping - for say a weekend or so. Given of course that I win the lottery jackpot I mentioned on my blog yesterday.
Posted by: Valkyrie at November 3, 2006 03:23 AMLOVE those sneaker like ones... who are they by???
Posted by: Shannon O. at November 3, 2006 08:32 AMOooh I say go for the 1st ones. Might as well be cute & trendy!!
I've purchased a few pairs at Payless- not only are they buy one get one 1/2 off, they are cute and COMFORTABLE!! Strange! They've lasted for years (but make sure you try them on and walk around in them). That way you can splurge on more trendy shoes- for about $15- and not feel guilty about it.
I can't pull off flats, because they make my calves look like elephant trunks.
Ooh I also love Target for shoes!!!
Posted by: girl from florida at November 3, 2006 10:09 AMi like the ones on the right. they are really cute!
Posted by: cady at November 3, 2006 11:04 AMI like the first ones. But I don't remember the last time I even considered buying a pair of flats. I'm 5'4" and my jeans are always draggin...
Posted by: Laura at November 3, 2006 01:59 PMThis is really hard. If you're going to be wearing them with jeans...then I'd say don't go with the first ones. Ballet flats and jeans look weird to me. I can't imagine myself in them, but the second ones are pretty cute...kind of athletic, yet a little dressy. You should go for a cute clog or something like that. Bass makes a cute in between kind of clog.
Posted by: Chas at November 3, 2006 05:12 PMI like the ones on the right too. I think they would go with pretty much anything. I am like you, i can't stand shopping for shoes.
Posted by: Emmakirsten at November 3, 2006 07:07 PMYou might check out the Emme Spire by Merrell. I love there shoes. They are a bit pricey but well worth it. They are very comfortable and very durable. :)
