FINALLY found a mom's group that I love!!! The others were fine, but none of the moms had infants. This group has quite a few moms with non-walkers, content to sit on a blanket in the park on a gorgeous day and gab! SCORE!!! MF and I both went, and we agreed that this was a winner. WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! I feel like I'm in high school and I just found a new group of friends!
Caught up on me DVR shows last night. "Nip/Tuck" was weird, as always. Also got caught up on my "Mom's on the Road:Africa" V cool. Can anyone suggest a show that isn't pure filth? "Moms on the Road" ends next week and "Nip/Tuck" is totally sleezy, but addictive.
I've been tired and lazy the past couple of days. Then today, I got my period which totally explains it. No BC pill means heavy frequent periods. Sucky. I'm worried about not producing as much milk, which is why I'm not on any.
Ok, time to check on the lasagna. James's co-worker made us his fab sausage/pepper lasagna since James helped tutor him for grad school. :-)
Posted by Hannah at November 6, 2006 08:00 PMI love Heroes, gilmore girls, LOST, Ugly Betty, 7th Heaven... starting back up in Jan is Monk, psych, stargate...

ALL of the ABC shows are available online, yippeee!! Ugly Betty is hilarious and CLEAN! Amazing. Six Degrees is so addictive as well.
I was giggling at your post below, GO HANNAH!! Adult fun by the fireplace, yippeeee! V. proud of you for posting that :)
I am SO SO happy you found a moms group you love!!
Posted by: girl from florida at November 6, 2006 09:38 PMThat's great that you found a group you like - it makes such a difference doesn't it? I went to one a while back a 'Moms n Babes' group - where all the kids were under a year. I stopped going after awhile because i didn't like the co-ordinator, she turned out to be sarcastic, judgemental and negative about almost everyone's kids! Ugh. I never really got back to looking for another one - even though a friend recommended another one. I somehow just go too busy. Now we just make do - and meet up with our regular friends - even though the kids ages are all different - we still have a good time :)
Posted by: Valkyrie at November 7, 2006 02:11 AMYea for finding a good mom's group!
I've been watching "Hero's" now too, it's kind of addicting...I still love "Lost!" I have other shows I like too, but they're probably more guilty pleasures as they're not the cleanest!
Posted by: Jessica at November 7, 2006 09:04 AMWhat do I watch? The Office, Grey's Anatomy, Gilmore Girls, Veronica Mars ... those would be my "can't miss" ... but I also sneak in some Degrassi and Martha and Rachael Ray. I ♥ Tivo.
Posted by: jesser at November 7, 2006 09:51 AMI am a fan of Ugly Betty, One Tree Hill, and Dancing with the stars, Grey's is good too! Love reading your blog - I'm a newbie!!
Posted by: Sara at November 7, 2006 01:26 PMUgly Betty is a hit. I like the whole fashion magazine aspect, and her boss is a cutie!
Glad you found friends you like to be with and have many things in common with~
Posted by: Rebecca at November 7, 2006 05:21 PMYay for a great mom's group. I wish I could find one that doesn't meet during the school day.
As for TV...Heroes is awesome...Lost is still the best show on TV, but if you haven't been watching I'd suggest renting season 1 and 2, same goes for Gilmore Girls and Veronica Mars (VM is the second best thing on TV...seasons 1 and 2 were the best!)..oh, and The Office is super funny.
Posted by: Chas at November 7, 2006 05:23 PMI'm glad you found a great group of mom friends, it's important to have that connection.
