Lately, I've been watching the complete series of various shows, both old and new. Of course, it's taking me time (usually when Olivia is napping on me). We have Netflix (love it!) and I've been picking a show and watching all the epiodes-- mostly shows that have already ended. The one I'm in the middle of now was one of my favorites as a young teen, "Road to Avonlea", or "Avonlea" as it was called on the Disney Channel here. The show originally aired in Canada. I love this show! It's so innocent... graceful, simple, funny, and gentile.. none of that cheating, divorce, sexpot crap that I watch on more current shows (which I admit, is also v. interesting). I think this has got to be my favorite series ever. With that said, I want to know your top 3 favorite series ever.
I'd say mine are:
1. ROAD TO AVONLEA
2. SIX FEET UNDER
3. GREY'S ANATOMY
but not far behind are "Sex and the City" which I put off watching for so long because I thought it was too dirty, but when I gave in (thanks, R) I found it wasn't so bad and really pretty funny. I also love "Nip/Tuck" but it's become a little too off the wall for me. I'm sure there are more, but I can't think of them. I have a baby girl pulling on my foot.
Time to run. I've got food pics to post later, but until then, what are your 3 favorite shows, ever? Maybe there's something I'm missing. After I finish this series (when Netflix decides to carry the 7th season), I don't have anything lined up. *sniff*
Six feet under is on my to do list.
I LOVED watching the entire series of Charmed (when I was pregnant, what sweet memories!) You & I are very similar (like 82% on our netflix friends :)) so I think you'd enjoy it, once you get past the initial cheesiness.
My next favorite, of all times, is Gilmore Girls. I used to watch it sporadically but once again, watched from start to finish while pregnant. I am devastated it is over!
Now it's Greys. Although I HATED that negative season finale. Boo.
And Heroes... love!!!
I also would like to watch Big Love, have you seen that?

One of my new favorites is October Road. Did you know that some of the filming was in Newnan, GA?

2- One Tree Hill (they film it where I went to college and I live vicariously through this show!)
3- CSI (any of them but I am a fan of the Miami one!
Oh, and Nip/Tuck is a little off the wall but if you are like me, you can't make your self stop the addiction!!
Can I add one more show? Rescue Me - hottie firefighters on FX - they get a little mouthy sometimes but it is a GREAT show and the new season starts in a few weeks!

I do get sucked into ANTM as well but I could ditch that one if I had to.
I'm a huge "Friends" fan as well, I'm not too ashamed to admit! I also love Frasier, I ahve 10 of the dvds checked out from the library right now! :) I love the first 4-5 seasons of Gilmore Girls, Grey's is fantastic & I love the office! (more than 3, but, oh well). :)
I was just thinking of Avonlea earlier this week, I loved that show as a kid! I should see if our library has copies.

How I Met Your Mother - I think it's better to watch this one on DVD than weekly. I dunno. I enjoyed it this way but chose not to follow up by watching it when it's really on. Weird.

I usually don't have time enough to watch the shows that most of your commentors have mentioned but I make sure that we see American Idol & Big Brother while they're "in season"! And, I know Friends doesn't come on any more, but I LOVE that show~I could watch the re-runs over & over!!
Some newer shows that I love are House, Bones, Deal or No Deal, & Are you smarter than a 5th grader :) Oh, & I also love ANYTHING on HGTV :)
