I Am Not Meant to Blog

I sent everyone an e-mail who contacted me. If you didn't get an e-mail, let me know. Thanks for your interest and support. I didn't even know that many people were reading. So many lurkers! Some of you are still lurking on my private blog. I guess it's human nature to be nosy. I know I am. Leave a comment! Say hello! It's only fair since you know a secret about my nether regions. :)

I took Olivia to play this morning at Monkey Joes's with my moms' group. I seriously think my moms' group is out of control. There are WAY too many people. Have you ever heard of a group with 200 members? Not to mention all their kids??? We have some subdivided activities, but we still have a lot of whole-group activities, which I don't even enjoy because there are too many people. It's clique-ish and crowded.

Pooh! Gotta stop there. I seriously didn't look up for TWO minutes to write the above, and in that time...

...Olivia knocked over a houseplant and wiped dirt all over herself.

...Wrigley peed a puddle on the floor! After nearly five years he still won't wait by the freaking door. He pees when he feels lonely or neglected.

...Olivia had a poop so smelly that her clothes smell like poop even though there was nothing on them.

TWO minutes! I guess I learned that I can't take my eyes off her (or the dog) for a second. Can you believe these moms in my group who literally do not look up at their kids for an hour at a time? There were 18 month olds running around by themselves at Monkey Joes. My mom came with me today and was SHOCKED!

That's an awfully large moms' group! Wow! I'm not sure how many members ours has, but not as many as that! We actually just had a nice outing today to a local lake/beach. I got WAY sunburned! :(

Wow, that really is a large mom's group! Can't say I understand mothers who don't watch their children either. My oldest daughters are 13 and almost 8 years old and the hubby jokes I still watch them like our 13 month old.

Once they start walking, it doesn't take toddlers long to wreak havoc, lol! I say that w/the utmost love, having a toddler myself ;) That is a HUGE Mom's group! I don't understand Mom's that don't watch their children like a hawk either~especially in such a crowded environment. When we take our boys to Chuck E. Cheese, which is just as crowded, I NEVER take my eyes off either of our boys & Justin's now 11!

I know how you feel about watching the baby AND the dogs. My dog will wait by the door, but as soon as someone walks in, it's all over. First thing I say to my guests is to watch their legs!! They are definately worse than children sometimes.

And I hear ya on the poop talk. Sometimes Ava's clothes smell too, and I actually have to change her outfit because I can't stand the smell :-)

I have a friend who is like that! She never keeps an eye on her kids! I hate hanging out with her because I end up chasing her kids along with Lani! Way too exhausting!

I don't let Jessica and Ally play in the playplace at the mall because I get so frustrated with parents who let their kids run around. Usually it's kids who are too old to be in there anyway. Instead I save up quarters and let them go on the rides rather than deal with useless parents!

WOW...that is a very large playgroup. Are there several mom's within the group that you guys could break away and do your own thing? I'm sure with that many, they certainly wouldn't miss you. I would consider starting one of my own...

As for my kiddos, I keep an eye on them...I don't want them getting hurt nor do I want them getting taken!!! But, honestly, it's a mommy thing for me...I don't have to make myself watch them. It just comes natural! I have a friend that never watches her kid whether we are out or at my house. It drives me nutso!

Your plant looks like mine...After Grayson started walking, he dug around my plants, pulling out the dirt. Fortunately, we have hardwoods but...when we are at my mom's, not so nice...she has carpet!

The pooping subject...oh, my! I am so with you on this!!! I can't figure out what I'm feeding this kid to smell this way?!

Thanks for opening up and blogging about things so personal. One reason I read your blogs is because we are similiar in some ways and you express feelings that I wish that I could. Make sense?!

Hi there, that sure sounds like a big playgroup, I know when I take Ava to playgroup, I don't take my eyes off of her, I mean I spend most of my time talking to other moms staring at her. LOL. I'd love to have the new site too.
